Monday
The Arts: By Mr. Gunawan
Procedure: Have two triangles cut from yellow construction paper. Show children how to invert a triangle on the other to make a star. Glue to the yellow construction paper cut.
Ingredients: 2 yellow triangles / child, 1 / 2 pieces of construction paper / child, glue, brushes, glue Pot.
Large Motor Activities: Dancing Dreidel and Menorah Candles
Procedure: While singing the dreidel song dances, have children pretend to like dreidel spin

Materials: a copy of the dreidel song and poetry Menorah Candles, a large dance area.
Dreidel Dance
(Tune: Row, Row, Row Your Boat)
Dreidel, dreidel, dreidel,

Speed up and slow down,

The Menorah Candles
I’m a menorah candles

Math Activity: Sort the Stars
Procedure: Cut a few different colors of the Stars of David, two of each color. Have children in accordance with the color.
Materials: each of the two stars of David, color, laminated, (8 color may vary).
Tuesday
Messy Art: Kwanzaa Candle Holder
Procedure: Give each child with 3 red wax paper, wax paper 3 green, 1 black and added the candle wax. Have children glue the candle with the candle holder.
Materials: red paper, green paper, black paper, cut into the form of candles, brown paper cut in the form of a wax, glue, brushes, glue Pot.
Large Motor Activities: Dancing for Kwanzaa
Procedure: Provide children with red streamers, green, or black. Have children dance to beat of drums. Explain when to play fast drum, they dance fast. When you play the drum slowly, they slow dance.
Materials: Red, green, and black streamers, and the drum stick, a large area to move.
Small Motor Activities: lacing Candles
Procedure: Provide laminated wax red, green, and black children to lace.
Materials: wax laminated, yarn.
Wednesday
Small Motor Activity / messy Art: Collage
Procedure: sometimes the time before the center, has helped the children’s eyes water red and green paper into small pieces. Provide every child with the form of a rectangular black paper cut. Each child glue paper to form the tear.
Materials: paper red and green torn into small pieces, a black rectangle, glue, brushes, glue Pot.
Large Motor / Self Esteem Activities: Yes
Procedure: Repeat the following poem and have children to do activities that are involved:
As I can bunny hop
I can rotate as above.
I can reach way up high
And I can almost touch the sky.
I ship in the line and the line
Sometimes fast and sometimes slow.
Now a strong jumping jack
I pop up and then go back.
So be careful in the simple rule
Like a little forest of trees.
Make silly faces like clown
And then I sit quietly.

Materials: Copy of poem, large open area.
